Donation Runs That Keep Good Stuff Out of the Landfill
We haul usable furniture, appliances, and household goods straight to Indian Trail-area charities — you save on disposal fees, and someone else gets a second use out of what you no longer need. Residential loads from $100.
What We Take on a Donation Run
Most charities in Union County accept items that are clean, complete, and functional. We check condition at pickup so there are no rejected loads at the drop-off door.
Furniture
Sofas, dressers, dining sets, bed frames, desks — as long as they're structurally sound and free of major damage, most thrift organizations will take them.
Clothing & Linens
Bagged clothing, bedding, and towels are among the easiest items to donate. We haul bags right alongside the heavy furniture.
Kitchen & Household Goods
Small appliances, cookware, dishware, and décor in working or usable condition qualify at most charity partners we work with.
Books & Media
Boxed books, DVDs, and educational materials find new homes quickly through local thrift shops and community organizations.
Working Appliances
Refrigerators, washers, dryers, and window units that still run are high-value donations — and keeping them out of the landfill saves significant disposal cost.
What Can't Be Donated
Broken furniture, items with heavy staining or infestation, paint, solvents, chemicals, and asbestos-containing materials are not donation-eligible. We still haul them — to the right facility, not the wrong one.
Donation Run Pricing in Indian Trail
We price by volume — quarter, half, or full truck — with a discount applied when items are accepted for donation instead of sent to the landfill.
Small Load
Quarter-truck or less. A few furniture pieces, bags of clothing, small appliances. Ideal for downsizing one room.

Half-truck. Multiple rooms, a garage sort, or a combination of furniture and bagged goods. Most residential donation runs land here.
Get a QuoteFull Truck
Estate cleanouts, whole-home downsizes, or combined donation-plus-disposal jobs. Commercial runs start at $300 and scale by volume.

Donation Runs in Indian Trail's HOA Communities
Indian Trail is heavily HOA-governed — Brandon Oaks, Bonterra, Taylor Glenn, Heritage, Annandale, and Crismark all have rules about how long items can sit at the curb and whether a truck can stage in the street. We know these neighborhoods and work within those rules.
- →No junk removal permit needed in Indian Trail — we load from your property and dispose at Union County's licensed transfer stations.
- →If debris must stage on a public street, Indian Trail may require a temporary right-of-way permit — we'll tell you before the job, not after.
- →Spring and early summer book fastest. Schedule 3–4 days ahead March through June, especially for estate or pre-listing cleanouts.
- →Disposal receipts available on request — important for estate and eviction cleanouts where documentation matters.
How a Donation Run Works
Four steps from first call to empty room. The whole thing usually wraps in a single morning.

We Load Everything
Crew handles all the heavy lifting — up stairs, through narrow halls, out of tight garages. You don't touch a thing.
Charity Drop-Off & Disposal
Donable items go to a local charity partner. The rest goes to a Union County licensed transfer station. We can provide a receipt on request.
Donation Run FAQ
What items can actually be donated instead of trashed?
Clean, functioning furniture, working appliances, bagged clothing, boxed books, and usable kitchen goods all have a good shot. We assess on pickup — if a charity won't take it, we still haul it to the right facility.
Do I get a tax receipt for donated items?
Most partner charities provide a receipt directly to you at drop-off. We'll tell you which organizations issue receipts before we load so you know what to expect.
How does pricing work on a donation run?
You pay for the haul — labor and the truck. When items are accepted for donation, we pass the landfill disposal savings back as a discount. Residential loads start around $100.
Can this be combined with an estate cleanout?
Yes — it's one of our most common combinations. We sort on-site, route donable items to charity, and dispose of the rest in the same job. One trip, one price.
Is there anything you can't legally haul?
Paint, solvents, chemicals, and asbestos-containing materials can't go on the truck — they must go to the Union County household hazardous waste facility. We'll tell you exactly where before the job.
How far ahead should I book in spring?
Spring and early summer fill fastest in Indian Trail. Booking 3–4 days ahead from March through June is smart — same-day slots exist but aren't guaranteed during those peak windows.
